Wynnum Mangrove

Wynnum Mangrove on the coast east of Brisbane is a fantastic place to view wildlife.
To be honest, all along the coast there are many many types of birds, all fascinating to see with some very different looks.

That Australian Ibis is a special case in point for having the most fantastically weird head of any bird. The back of its head looks like it’s been cut with a razor blade… truly horrific stuff indeed 🤣

These are the shots from two seperate days down there… just a really nice place to visit
